Below are some of the common questions we regularly get asked. If you don't see what your after please feel free to get in touch with us on 07736546661 or use the contact us link below thanks.
Q: How long is the hire of the castle?
A:There is no set time limit (within reason) to our bouncy castle hires.....we aim to deliver before lunch and collect after 5:30pm. If booking for a hall or you require the castle for specific times these can be arranged.
Q: Why can't I book certain extras and packages online?
A: The reason for this is we need to check availability of our suppliers of these extras. East Coast Castles have sourced some of the best providers of entertainment to be supplied at no additional cost to the customer therefore bring you the best priced packages around. Also certain extras are only available with the booking of one of our amazing bouncy castles.
Q: What type of space is needed to safely set up a bouncy castle?
A: The bouncy castle needs to be set up in a safe manner so that the risk of injury to the participants is greatly reduced. The bouncy castle needs approx. 5ft for both the front and the back and approx. 3ft for the sides. Please read the description of the bouncy castle for specifics when booking.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?
A: If the weather is that bad then the bouncy castle would have to be cancelled. As a Children's entertainment company we have to take safety serious. If the rain is heavy and persistent and the wind is strong then the bouncy castle will be cancelled I am afraid. If the rain is a light drizzle then no need to worry. Most of our castles come with a shower/sun protector but the option is still yours if you would like to go ahead or not.
Q: What happens if I am sick or an emergency?
A: Don't worry. We at East Coast Castles fully understand that things happen....all we ask if you are looking to cancel your booking you do so at the earliest opportunity.
Q: Am I required to do anything before the bouncy castle arrives?
A: Yes. We ask that you ensure the area is clear of any rubbish and dog mess. We also ask that the area the bouncy castle will be going to be clear of obstacles such as trampolines and slides. Also ensure there is no sharp objects like fresh cut hedges and branches as these could damage the bouncy castle and we wouldn't be able to set up.
Q: I have a garden that is not grass?
A: Not to worry. There are a few safe methods to secure a castle to a hard standing. Anchor bolts, ropes and sandbags depending on the ground. If you are looking to book a castle for a hard standing whether it be concrete, Astro turf or soft rubber it is best to call us on 07736546661 to talk about it thanks.
